1.5 Face Data and Photo Processing (Passport photo ID App)

PassportReady uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework to analyze photos you take or import. The app temporarily processes facial features such as face position, eye line, head orientation, and expression solely to align your photo to document requirements and provide compliance guidance. This processing occurs entirely on your device.

We do not collect, store, or transmit facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or face maps to our servers. Face analysis data exists only in memory during your editing session and is not retained separately. If you save a finished photo, it is stored locally on your device until you delete it.

Face data is not shared with third parties. Google AdMob, used for advertising in the free version, does not receive face data or photos.
